1.Chinesewhohavejoinedforeignnationality.Accordingtothe"RegulationsontheAdministrationofPermanentResidentsofShanghai","Forthosewhogoabroadtosettledownorbecomeforeignnationals,theyshouldapplyforcancellationoftheirhouseholdregistrationatthepolicestationwheretheirhouseholdregistrationislocated."Youneedtocancelyouraccount,otherwiseyouwillnotbeabletoapply.
1.已加入外國國籍的華人。依據(jù)《上海市常住戶口管理規(guī)定》，“出國定居者或加入外國國籍的，本人應當向戶口所在地公安派出所辦理注銷戶口登記?！奔尤胪鈬鴩?，回到中國申請各類簽證、居留許可等都需要注銷戶口，否則將無法申請。

2.出國定居的華僑。申請人具有國外的永久居留權，且在該國連續(xù)居住兩年，兩年內合計居住不少于18個月，可被認定為出國定居者，須注銷戶口；申請人未獲得國外的永久居留權，但已取得連續(xù)5年以上的合法居留資格，5年內在該國合計居住不少于30個月，被視為華僑，同樣被認定為出國定居者。
